Who comes up with this stuff?

This is more of a passing snarky comment than a blog, but seriously, who sat around a giant, highly polished mahogany table in the inner sanctum at Apple and pitched the idea, "Hey! Let's change our name from 'dotmac' to 'mobileme' so everyone's email addresses will now end with 'me.com'! Won't that be cute?"

Uh. No. Not cute. Maybe if this were email addys by Fisher Price. But seriously, "me.com"? It's the email provider for narcissists. Thanks, Apple.
